Core Vision

I believe in a Kolding for everyone – a city where belonging replaces barriers, where every voice matters, and where decisions are made with both heart and reason.

Politics should focus on practical solutions: better schools, stronger care, cleaner environment, and inclusive communities. My mission is to make local politics human again – based on fairness, empathy, and results people can see and feel.

Social & Welfare

Public welfare is the foundation of equality. Services like healthcare, schools, and care for the elderly must remain public and accessible to everyone, not driven by profit. Private partners can assist, but responsibility must stay with the Kommune.

Dignity in care. Every person deserves time, compassion, and stable caregivers. Technology can help, but it should support – never replace – the human touch that builds trust and comfort.

Freedom with fairness. Citizens may choose additional services if they wish, but the basic level of welfare must remain equal for all. Respect and security should never depend on income.

Children, Education & Family

Education builds the future. I support smaller classes, more teachers, and renovated schools where each child – Danish or international – can thrive and feel included.

Inclusion with real support. Integration of children with special needs must come with extra resources, not as an excuse for savings. Inclusion should empower both students and teachers.

Local schools matter. Small schools keep communities alive and safe. Even if more expensive, they create closeness and trust that benefit society as a whole.

Quality childcare. Minimum staff ratios (1:3 and 1:6) ensure calm and quality. Healthy, affordable meals help children learn better and reduce inequality.

Economy & Taxes

Spend smarter before taxing higher. Public money must be used efficiently. Waste and overlapping administration should be reduced, so citizens can see real results for their taxes.

No reckless tax cuts. Cutting taxes at the cost of schools or healthcare is short-sighted. A strong welfare system and responsible growth are worth protecting.

Support local business. I want to make it easier to start and grow businesses in Kolding, especially small, green, and international ventures. Local jobs mean a stronger community.

Elderly Policy

Respect, care, and choice. Seniors deserve consistent, compassionate caregivers and clean, welcoming homes. Modern care homes must meet real human needs, not just efficiency targets.

Freedom to choose. Technology and private options can help – as long as quality stays identical for all and the person always decides how they receive care.

Invest in people. Better working conditions and language training attract skilled staff, including international caregivers, ensuring dignity and quality for our elders.

Integration, Equality & Diversity

Diversity strengthens Kolding. International residents contribute skills, ideas, and energy. Integration must work both ways – newcomers engage, and society opens doors.

Respect across cultures. Offering multilingual services or dietary options builds trust and inclusion, not division. Respect makes communities stronger.

Equality and representation. Every person, regardless of origin or gender, deserves equal access to opportunity and influence. True democracy listens to every voice.

Climate, Environment & Energy

Act for the next generation. I support investing in renewable energy, like solar and wind, even when it costs more at first – it saves both money and the planet later.

Protect what is green. Kolding's parks, forests, and natural spaces are priceless. I will promote smart urban planning that densifies cities instead of destroying nature.

Lead by example. Municipal buildings should meet low-carbon standards. Canteens can promote healthier, climate-friendly choices through inspiration, not enforcement.

Transport, Mobility & City Planning

Free and fair mobility. Free local buses for students and seniors will make transport accessible and reduce traffic. Better bus frequency, evening routes, and multilingual info are key.

Safe and active travel. More bike lanes, lighting, and safe crossings reduce pollution and accidents. Green transport is social policy as much as environmental policy.

Balanced development. Large projects like Marina City must be sustainable, inclusive, and environmentally responsible. Development should add value for all residents.

Health & Mental Wellbeing

Mental health for all. Waiting times for counselling must be reduced. Support should be accessible, multilingual, and available early – before problems escalate.

Community support. Local peer groups, NGOs, and schools can help build mental resilience. People should feel safe asking for help and staying active in society.

Prevention is key. Encouraging sports, volunteering, and cultural participation prevents loneliness and promotes physical and emotional wellbeing.

Housing & Urban Development

Affordable homes for all. I support social and mixed-income housing so Kolding remains open to everyone – students, families, and seniors alike.

Smart, green construction. Build within existing areas first and focus on flood-resistant, energy-efficient designs. Growth must protect both people and nature.

Fair partnerships. Public-private cooperation can build affordable housing when transparent and sustainable. Every new project should raise quality of life.

Culture, Sports & Community Life

Culture unites. Arts, festivals, and libraries bring people together across generations and cultures. I'll support initiatives that celebrate both Danish and global traditions.

Sports for everyone. I prioritise accessible sports and youth facilities over expensive prestige projects. Physical activity builds health, friendship, and inclusion.

Shared celebrations. Events like the Festival of Lights, International Dinners, and local fairs show that unity grows when we meet and celebrate together.

Governance & Democracy

Transparency builds trust. Citizens have the right to see how taxes are used and to be involved in shaping policies. I will promote open hearings and multilingual communication.

Politics as service. Leadership should mean listening. Serving in city council is about dedication to people – not status or financial reward.

Local focus. Kolding should prioritise education, welfare, and environment, not foreign disputes. Local responsibility creates real results.
